Oh my, news at 11:00!  The FCC in conjuction with Homeland Security has awarded Vault1031 a Low Power FM Community Radio Broadcast License!  We are so Excited and we must thank our incredible radio Partners at Spaulding University for joining us in this endeavor.  We are so fortunate to work with such bright, incredible people!  The Radio Tower on top of our building will come alive again with creative, exciting broadcasting.  Thank you Spalding University We look forward to this exciting partnership!  Stay Tuned!

 

LATEST NEWS:

 

We received our FCC Construction Permit in February.  The FCC gives 18 months to build a new radio station.  We want to go live sooner than 18 months and since we already have the tower our construction time is diffinitely less.  We have a project manaager and have started meeting with an Engineer.  For this special FCC Community License we have to do the following:

 

1.  Build a Radio Studio inside the Vault1031 Building that to be manned 36 hours a week or more

2.  Purchase special Emergency communication Equipment

3.  Design Programming that is totally local, Educational, Childrens' programming, music, Community Voices, everything community Louisville!!
